The front and back gardens of this elegant Georgian house both needed a rethink.
In the front the circular pattern of the balcony ironwork inspired the formal circular box edged bed softened by a cloud of lavender. The yew hedge screening the street also hides a space for recycling bins.
At the back the steps from the basement area were redesigned to improve their safety and appearance and the small courtyard replanted to provide a peaceful shaded haven.
